Sasha" is the name of the Heavy's Minigun in Team Fortress 2. It seems to be a scaled-down version of an M134 Dillion Minigun. Like many other autocannons currently existing, Sasha retains the usual look with 6 long barrels covered by a circular piece of metal. The Heavy claims that it uses $200 custom tooled cartridges, weighs 150 kilograms and has a ridiculously high fire rate or 10,000 rounds per minute. It is currently the biggest weapon in game (excluding Natascha). Despite it's huge size it doesn't do the most damage out of all weapons in TF2. It takes 1 second for the minigun to rev up to firing speed, but it can be kept spinning with the Heavy's special ability of keeping the motor running without firing a single round.
When firing and/or keeping the barrel, the Heavy will be slowed significantly. This makes you an easy target for your enemies to hit you since you are now a sitting duck ready to be killed, especially at long range as Sniper's can easily pick you off and the Minigun won't do much at long range. Only fire when you need to such as when you are surrounded by enemies. The Minigun, like many other primary weapons in TF2, are best used at point blank. It also has a large cone of fire, making it perfect for use at this range.
- 1 ammo for the Minigun is 4 bullets. if all 200 ammo units are counted, it equals 800 bullets, which would most likely be impossible for the Minigun's internal drum magazine to contain.
- Since it costs $4 to fire the Minigun for just 1 seconds, the rounds used for Sasha must be ridiculously powerful, making just 1 round expensive. As heavy states "It costs $400,000 to fire it for 12 seconds."
- "Sasha" seems to have "Super Caliber" brand bullets as a standard round.
- A weapon like a Minigun/Gatling Gun would not be used by just one man, even if the Heavy poesses unusual strength since not only does all the weapon's important compartments have a high weight combined, but the recoil created by the weapon will be immense. Also according to the Heavy Sasha weighs 150 kilograms which in pounds is over 300 lbs.
