Slowdown is a ability that only the Heavy can do. This can only be done with one of his weapons, the Natascha, when the enemy is hit. The slowest a enemy can get is about 113 Hammer Units per second. This is range-based, meaning the slowdown is less the farther away the source of the slowdown is. It also depends on the quantity of the bullets hitting the target. This can stop enemies from getting away at close range, as they will barely be able to move, and their attempts will only give the player more time to kill them. This can be useful for scouts, as their speed and small hitbox combined make little of your bullets actually hit them, and with the slowdown, they move slower than a heavy would be when walking, making them a easy target.
