The Solemn Vow is a melee weapon for the Medic. It is a marble bust of Hippocrates, inset with a plaque reading "Do no harm" – the guiding principle of the Hippocratic Oath. This weapon has the ability to see enemy health at any time, with the downside of 10% slower swing speed compared to the stock bone saw. It is very useful to see if the enemy only needs a couple of needles to finish or is charging at you with full health. If no other melee weapon is available to the medic, then use this.
