The Tide Turner is a secondary weapon for the Demoman introduced in the Love & War Update. It is a worn-down ship steering wheel that functions similarly to the Chargin' Targe. This weapon gives the Demoman a 25% resistance to fire damage (including afterburn) and explosive damage. The main feature of it is that it allows complete turing controls while charging, like regular running except charging, allowing the demoman to turn around as much as desired for a short amount of time. Also, when you get a kill while charging, the charge bar is completely filled, with any weapon. The charge shield damage mechanic and damage is exactly the same as the regular chargin' targe's, except if you get a kill with the charge bash, you will have a full charge meter.
